Water was actively being pumped into the moat on the Liberty Square side of the castle Monday morning, June 1. A few inches of water had already accumulated by 9 a.m.

The moat was drained back in February as the castle was restored to its original color scheme. Disney said two weeks ago that the painting project was “almost complete.”

There’s a little bit of water in the Tomorrowland side of the moat. Disney also took the time to finish repainting the Tomorrowland entrance rocks while the moat was empty.
