2023 Gingerbread House
Disney World just made a holiday announcement that we’re not too sure about. It’s certainly the end of an era as we say goodbye to one of our favorite parts of the holiday season.
The gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will not be returning. The amazing house did not return for the 2025 season due to construction throughout the resort, specifically in the lobby, where they installed The Perch, a birdcage bar.

The house has been around for well… as long as we can remember! Instead of one big gingerbread house in the lobby, the hotel will feature a few small ones throughout the resort, made by Disney’s culinary team.
