Beginning September 1, several Tokyo Disney Resort rides will cease offering their free line-skip service and move to the paid Disney Premier Access.
Tokyo Disney Rides Moving to Premier Access
Tokyo Disney Resort retired the FastPass name for skip-the-line services, but began offering the free Tokyo Disney Resort 40th Anniversary Priority Pass in 2023. As we learned earlier this year, Priority Pass will come to an end after August 31.
The next day, these attractions, previously available via Priority Pass, will move to Disney Premier Access:
- Big Thunder Mountain: 1,500 yen
- Pooh’s Hunny Hunt: 1,500 yen
- Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek: 1,000 yen
- Raging Spirits: 1,500 yen
Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull (1,500 yen) will also move to Premier Access but is currently closed for refurbishment.
Disney Premier Access is similar to Lightning Lane at the U.S. parks. Guests select a designated timeframe to enter an attraction’s Premier Access queue or enjoy preferred viewing for a show or parade. It’s available through the Tokyo Disney Resort app.
