Scaffolding and most scrims are gone from The Haunted Mansion facade at Magic Kingdom, revealing its updated color scheme more closely resembling its appearance on opening day.

The Haunted Mansion Facade Refurbishment

The bricks are a darker reddish-brown while the trim is gray instead of beige. As we previously reported, the cupola dome now has a green finish like it had in 1971. The rest of the roofing is black.

The chimneys were refreshed with ashy black detailing. The bat weathervane remains. The greenhouse’s wrought iron framing appears to be a darker green.

Below the greenhouse, some trim has not been fully painted yet. It’s still the pale color of primer.

There are still gray tarps around the facade’s perimeter wall. Shrubbery and trees also need to be re-planted in front of the building. These were removed to make space for scaffolding.
