An iconic piece of Seinfeld history has been removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as the “ASSMAN” license plate reference has disappeared from a fake apartment call box in the park.

License Plate Reference Removed

The “ASSMAN” license plate reference stems from an episode in season six of Seinfeld when Kramer’s DMV license plate got switched with a proctologist’s license plate. Later in the episode, Kramer proudly tells Jerry, “I’m Cosmo Kramer, the Assman!”

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is a fake apartment call box at the entrance of the Grand Lofts building along Grand Avenue. Guests were previously able to find several names to “call,” including “Assmann, K.” (adding an extra “n” to the end of the name). Pictured above is what it looked like.

However, all names from the directory have been removed—including Assmann, K. Pictured above is what it looks like currently without the name.
