Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye at Disneyland will close for a refurbishment beginning in September.

Indiana Jones Adventure Refurbishment

The Disneyland calendar lists Indiana Jones Adventure as closed beginning on September 8. A reopening date is not yet available.

Indiana Jones Adventure last went through a two-day refurbishment in December 2025 following a month-long refurb earlier that year. Since then, the bridge effect was restored after several years and props at the exit were refreshed. The ride’s full pre-show returned in early 2025 after a 5-year absence.

A second version of Indiana Jones Adventure with an identical ride track but different story exists at Tokyo DisneySea.

A third version is under construction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where it replaces DINOSAUR. The DinoLand ride had a nearly identical ride track and system, so it will be reimagined, also with a new story.
