On your next visit to EPCOT, keep an eye out for the large and colorful Napoleon wrasse that has been added to the 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium at The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
Toa Debuts at EPCOT
Disney recently shared a video of Toa, the newest addition to the SeaBase Aquarium, located near The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT in Walt Disney World.
Toa – a Māori word meaning warrior or victor – is a Napoleon wrasse, an endangered species native to the Indo-Pacific region of the world. The Napoleon wrasse primarily eats crown-of-thorns sea stars, which are detrimental to the health of coral reefs. Toa is the first of his species at the SeaBase Aquarium.
