After being removed for a few days, the single rider entrance sign for Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain has returned, but the single rider offer is unavailable.
Single Rider Entrance Sign Returns

We last reported that the single rider sign, located on an exterior corner of the Serka Zong Bazaar gift shop, was removed a few days ago. At the time, we were informed the single rider loading was still technically open, but guests interested in using that option would need to talk with a nearby cast member. Cast Members told us, though, that the dedicated single rider queue will officially close soon.

Since then, the single rider entrance sign has returned to the exterior of the gift shop. However, the sign notes that this option is “not available.”

The official Walt Disney World website corroborates this, as the “Single Rider Offered” bullet point under Accessibility & Other Information for the attraction has been removed. Expedition Everest was one of only a handful of Walt Disney World Resort attractions that offered a single rider line for park guests.
The closure of the single rider line follows a change to Expedition Everest’s loading procedure that dramatically increased waits for single riders earlier this year. Screens displaying a brand-new safety video were also installed in the queue a few months ago for the attraction.
