The Conqueror Announces 4 New 'Toy Story' Virtual Fitness Challenges and Medals

Fans can walk, run, or exercise to infinity and beyond with four new Toy Story virtual challenges from The Conqueror.

Walk, Run, or Work Out Your Way with Toy Story Challenges

Fans can walk, run, or exercise to infinity and beyond with four new Toy Story virtual challenges from The Conqueror.

The Toy Story Virtual Challenges encompass four routes inspired by the enduringly popular Pixar franchise. Participants track their activity through The Conqueror’s mobile app, advancing across illustrated maps and unlocking digital postcards, location details, and character cards along the way.

Each completed challenge rewards participants with a physical medal featuring interactive elements and Easter eggs inspired by the films. The four routes collectively span approximately 326 miles, or 525 kilometers, but participants may complete them in any order and choose their own timeframe.

Registration is not yet open. The Conqueror is currently inviting interested participants to sign up for notifications. Pricing has not been announced.

The Buzz Lightyear’s Arrival Virtual Challenge covers 66 miles (106 kilometers) and follows the events of the original Toy Story. Its illustrated route begins in Andy’s cloud-covered bedroom before moving into Sid’s disturbing workshop.

The rocket-shaped finisher medal features Buzz Lightyear at its center. Lifting part of the ribbon reveals one of the Pizza Planet claw machines, with the claw pulling up a Little Green Alien. The reverse side depicts Buzz inside his original rocket-shaped toy-box packaging.

Participants can unlock seven virtual character cards, including Buzz Lightyear, the Bucket o’ Soldiers, and Mr. Spell. Digital locations include Sid’s house and Pizza Planet.

Jessie and the Roundup Virtual Challenge — 75 Miles

Inspired by Toy Story 2, the Jessie and the Roundup Virtual Challenge spans 75 miles (121 kilometers). The route follows the toys’ rescue mission from Al’s Toy Barn to Al’s apartment and onward toward the airport.

Jessie appears inside a vintage television set inspired by the black-and-white “Woody’s Roundup” program. Tilting the medal brings Bullseye and additional woodland critters into the television scene, making the image appear to come to life.

The challenge includes eight virtual character cards, as well as digital postcards and locations such as Al’s Toy Barn.

Woody’s Adventure Virtual Challenge — 93 Miles

The longest route in the collection is the Woody’s Adventure Virtual Challenge, covering 93 miles (150 kilometers). It draws from Toy Story 3, beginning at Sunnyside Daycare and continuing into the nighttime playground where Woody’s escape plan takes shape.

Woody is featured on a hinged medal designed as a tribute to the toy family remaining together. Opening the medal’s box-like compartment reveals Hamm, Bullseye, and Rex waiting inside.

Nine virtual character cards can be collected during the challenge, featuring Bonnie’s toys and the troublesome residents of Sunnyside Daycare. Participants can also unlock digital locations such as Bonnie’s room.

Bo Peep and the Lost Toys Virtual Challenge — 92 Miles

Based on Toy Story 4, the Bo Peep and the Lost Toys Virtual Challenge covers 92 miles (148 kilometers). Its route begins in Bonnie’s room, follows Forky’s first adventure, and leads to Second Chance Antiques, where Woody reunites with Bo Peep.

Bo Peep takes center stage on the glow-in-the-dark medal, which incorporates a movable carnival Ferris wheel. The wheel can be spun, while its colorful neon-style details glow in the dark.

The challenge offers seven virtual character cards featuring characters from Bo Peep’s world, as well as Forky and other toys from Toy Story 4. Its unlockable digital locations include the carnival.

Tracking the Challenges

Distance can be entered manually, recorded through The Conqueror’s in-app pedometer, or synchronized from a compatible fitness tracker or smartwatch. Although the challenges are presented as virtual routes, activities such as yoga and weightlifting can also be converted into distance.

Participants can take on the challenges individually or combine their progress as part of a team. Completing the entire series unlocks 31 virtual character cards and earns all four physical medals.

For every 20% of a challenge completed, The Conqueror also funds either the planting of a tree through veritree or the removal of 10 plastic items through Plastic Bank.
