The Disney World Essentials That Are Cheaper on Amazon Than in the Parks

The Disney World Essentials That Are Cheaper on Amazon Than in the Parks

When you’re thinking about essentials for your Disney World trip, you may be thinking about getting a few of them when you’re already in Disney World, because what if you don’t need it, you brought it from home, and then took up that space in your bag?

Let’s take a look at what’s in the first bag!

Here’s the thing, though: you may be surprised to see just how much MORE some of those items will cost you in Disney World. Whereas, if you buy them online ahead of time, you’ll spend less money, and if you don’t end up using them, well, Amazon has a pretty solid return policy (especially if you haven’t opened the item).

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Disney World sells ponchos for those Florida storms. It will run you about $12 for an adult and $10 for a child’s poncho. Now, we’ll be honest, the Disney World ponchos can often tear, and they don’t hold up well for a week’s-long vacation — much less multiple vacations.

These are breathable and can keep you dry in those Florida storms. Once we’re done using it, we can simply put it back in the pack and keep the inside of our park bags dry. You can get this on sale for under $13!

The misting fans you find in the parks can cost over $20, and you have to carry it around all day. These are large and can get in the way easily. That’s why we would rather opt for something smaller.
