The queue is full of Fast & Furious-inspired imagery and cars throughout. There are colorful sports cars in various racing-style poses and a colorful mural as well.

There are also car-related signs like the Sinclair Dino along portions of the queue as well. Many of the signs appear rusted out.
An official opening date for the coaster hasn’t been announced. During technical rehearsals, it may open or close at any time and have limited capacity.

Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift is now the fastest roller coaster in Universal’s global portfolio. It was designed with sound-reduction technology, although it continues to generate complaints from nearby Toluca Lake residents, who said screams from test riders could be heard throughout their neighborhood.

The ride’s four inversions and individually rotating vehicles are designed to create the sensation of drifting as riders race around the escalators connecting the Upper and Lower Lots.

Each train consists of four detailed cars inspired by vehicles from the Fast & Furious films: Dom’s Dodge Charger, Han’s Mazda RX-7, and two cars driven by Brian O’Conner. They’re complete with distinctive engine and braking sounds.
A version of Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift is also under construction at Universal Studios Florida.
