Almost 90% of Disney Cruise Line Guests Rate Crew Experience 'Excellent', According to Disney Leadership

Nearly 90% of surveyed Disney Cruise Line guests have rated their experience tied to crew members as “excellent,” according to Disney.

Natacha Rafalski, President of Disney Signature Experiences, shared the statistic during a special Disney Experiences presentation on the D23 expo floor. Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum opened the presentation, which brought Rafalski together with Disneyland Resort President Jill Estorino, Walt Disney World Resort President Joe Schott, and Disney Parks International President and Managing Director Tasia Filippatos.

During a discussion about maintaining a consistent guest experience across Disney’s expanding global portfolio, Rafalski emphasized the role that Disney Cruise Line crew members play in bringing the company’s storytelling and service standards to life.

“I’ll give you a stat for this year so far. What we’re seeing is, when we ask our guests how they rate the experience on our Disney cruise lines, almost 90% of them say that it’s an excellent experience tied to the crew members.”

Rafalski described that figure as “extraordinarily high” and said it was something Disney could be proud of.

“Our crew members, really, they build trust and loyalty and make our guests feel special when they’re on our Disney cruise ships.”

The statistic comes as Disney Cruise Line undergoes the largest fleet expansion in its history. The company currently operates eight ships following the recent debuts of the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure. Disney has also moved several upcoming ship launches forward, putting it on track to operate 13 vessels by the end of calendar year 2030.

Rafalski was named President of Disney Signature Experiences in May. Her portfolio includes Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions, Aulani, and Storyliving by Disney.

Nearly 90% of surveyed Disney Cruise Line guests have rated their experience tied to crew members as “excellent,” according to Disney.

The internal satisfaction figure also follows Disney Cruise Line’s recent recognition in the travel industry. Readers of Travel + Leisure ranked Disney Cruise Line the No. 1 large-ship ocean cruise line in the publication’s 2026 World’s Best Awards.
