Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will be the new pizza restaurant in Monstropolis at Hollywood Studios, replacing PizzeRizzo.

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza will serve what Disney describes as “the top-rated pizza in Monstropolis.” The restaurant is named for Archie, the six-legged Fear Tech mascot frequently “borrowed” by mischievous Monsters University students.

“People and monsters all love pizza, and Monstropolis’ top-rated pizza will be your go-to place to grab a slice.”

Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza replaces what was previously known as PizzeRizzo.

PizzaRizzo originally opened as Pizza Planet in 1995, inspired by Toy Story, but was re-themed in 2016 with a Muppets backstory. This quick-service restaurant was owned and run by Rizzo the Rat, who came from a long line of rat pizza makers.

Upstairs, the restaurant held a ballroom fit for a party. Streamers were strung, dance music was always playing, and a disco ball twinkled to amp up the party atmosphere. A letter board announced the wedding reception of Gil & Lil, Daughter of Will & Jill, Son of Phil & Bill, with the Electric Mayhem performing. PizzeRizzo was full of Muppets easter eggs and details.

Here, an Audio-Animatronics figure of the restaurant’s tentacled sushi chef will prepare monster-inspired creations.

Disney says the joint will serve sushi and more, offering “a menu unlike anything else we offer at Walt Disney World. It will be a great place to bring your Schmoopsie-poo for a romantic meal.”

Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

At the "Horizons: A Carousel of Progress" Disney Parks panel on Saturday, August 16 at D23: the Ultimate Fan Event, Disney revealed the restaurants and merchandise locations coming to Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Along with Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza and Harryhausen’s, two more venues will open, including Monster’s University Alumni Club, a clubhouse-like venue, and Scareporium, the primary shopping venue of the land.
