Back in 2023, we learned that DinoLand, U.S.A. would be transformed into a NEW Tropical Americas land, complete with elements from Indiana Jones and Encanto.

DINOSAUR is being replaced by a new Indiana Jones ride, AND an Encanto ride is coming soon. Disney has been pretty quiet on the details so far, but now, we officially know the name of the new Encanto ride coming to Animal Kingdom!
A NEW LAND themed to the Tropical Americas is coming to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom park in 2027. Get ready to step into Pueblo Esperanza! And Disney has just announced the name of a new Encanto ride that will be part of this transformation, and this ride will be called Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto!
A new attraction themed after the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Encanto” follows Antonio the day after he received his magical gift – the ability to communicate with animals and is situated in the new Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Not only did Disney just announce the name for this highly anticipated new attraction, but they also shared that ALL of the original Encanto actors are returning to voice their characters on the attraction.

This ride will take place on Antonio’s gift day, the day when all of the children are given their talents. And we know we will get to ride throughout the Casita and even into Antonio’s room! There are over 50 animals throughout the entire attraction, and Disney just revealed NEW concept art for the attraction.

Pueblo Esperanza will become home to two signature attractions — an Encanto ride featuring the Madrigal family and a new Indiana Jones adventure ride!

The new land will feature classic Spanish-style architecture with a large hacienda that will also serve as one of the largest quick-service restaurants at Disney World. The rich and lush colors and biodiversity of the Tropical Rainforest will be on full display, and at the center of Pueblo Esperanza will be a large fountain where stories will be told by gathering villagers.

Disney explained that Imagineers are taking inspiration from some of the most biodiverse areas on the planet in the regions just north and south of the equator here in the Western Hemisphere, including the northern part of South America, stretching up into Central America. We can’t wait to see this land once it has finally been transformed!
