Former Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger has received one of the highest honors bestowed upon an influential Disney leader: a personalized window on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park.

Drew the Disney Dude shared a photo of the new window on the final morning of this year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience. Iger’s window transforms his executive career into the identity of a turn-of-the-century architectural firm called “New Century Builders.” The name appears across the upper portion of the central pane in large, dimensional lettering styled to resemble an advertisement from the period represented by Main Street, U.S.A.
Beneath the company name, a deep red plaque identifies Iger by his full name, “Robert A. Iger.” He is given the fictional professional title of “Chief Architect,” reflecting his role in shaping the modern Walt Disney Company, particularly with regard to the creation of Disney’s newest international resort under Iger’s leadership, Shanghai Disneyland. The window concludes with the phrase: “Looking Forward to Your Tomorrow!”
Gold filigree, thin decorative borders, and ornamental flourishes fill the window around the lettering. The design uses cream, gold, dark green, and burgundy colors that complement the surrounding Main Street facade. Green lettering on the adjacent right window reads “Innovation, Curiosity, and Optimism.”
Above the main window is an arched panel featuring a gold illustration of a town center building arrangement similar to the aesthetic of Main Street U.S.A. across Disney Parks. Fireworks and beams of light fill the sky behind the ornate buildings.
Iger led The Walt Disney Company for nearly two decades across two tenures as CEO. Among the most consequential developments under his leadership were Disney’s acquisitions of Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and much of 21st Century Fox, as well as the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort and the launch of Disney+.
He stepped down as CEO in March 2026 and currently serves as a senior advisor and member of Disney’s Board of Directors. He is also among the members of the 2026 Disney Legends class.
The Main Street Window Tradition
The windows lining Main Street, U.S.A. appear to advertise fictional businesses appropriate to an idealized American town at the turn of the 20th century. Many of the names painted on them, however, belong to real people who made significant contributions to Disney.
The fictional company names, job titles, slogans, and other details commonly contain references to each honoree’s career. Windows have traditionally been dedicated to Disney executives, Imagineers, artists, composers, and Cast Members, often following their retirement.
Among the figures honored with Disneyland windows are longtime attractions executive Dick Nunis, Imagineers Marc and Alice Davis, and songwriters Richard and Robert Sherman.
Disney Legend Don Iwerks, who passed away in July 2026, is also represented with a Main Street, U.S.A. window at Magic Kingdom. Shared with his father, legendary animator and inventor Ub Iwerks, the window advertises “Iwerks-Iwerks Stereoscopic Cameras,” recognizing the technological innovations that both men contributed to Disney filmmaking and theme park attractions.
