BREAKING: Avengers Campus Expansion Rides Open 2028 at Disney California Adventure

Disney shared new details of Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab, a pair of new attractions coming soon to Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.

Firstly, the route between Avengers Campus and Cars Land will be reopening “soon.”

Both rides will open in 2028.

Avengers Infinity Defense

Amid an explosion, a green-skinned character clashes with enemies while futuristic ships and buildings loom in the background. The image, branded with "Avengers: Infinity Defense," evokes the excitement of visiting Avengers Campus.

This multiverse-jumping attraction has guests and super heroes face off against King Thanos, a version of the villain who won. Avengers Infinity Defense will use the same 3D ride system as Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure at Tokyo DisneySea.

Massive physical sets will blend “seamlessly” with screen scenes.

Guests will be welcomed as recruits. The pre-show will star Ms. Marvel played by Iman Vellani.

Other on-screen heroes reprising their roles include Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man.

A video filmed during Doomsday production included the four actors filming new footage, along with some clips of the ride.

Stark Flight Lab

On Stark Flight Lab, guests sit in “gyro-kinetic pods” that move along a track before attaching to a robotic arm. Each arm has a personality, similar to DUM-E from the Iron Man films.

Robert Downy, Jr. also returns as Tony Stark / Iron Man for Stark Flight Lab. He’s joined by Mackie and Brie Larsen reprising her role as Captain Marvel.

They will be flight instructors, training guests as Avengers.
