Disney has shared Piston Peak’s family-friendly attraction name, animatronic, and concept art.

Miss Fritters’ Daredevils Spin Along

It’s called Miss Fritters’ Daredevils Spin Along. Inspired by the “Diva of Demolition” from Cars 3, Disney announced that the ride will feature Miss Fritter as a “huge school-bus-sized animatronic” who hosts a stampeding bash at her “wildest demolition derby yet.”

Previously, the only information Disney shared about the second attraction was that it will be geared towards younger children and will be fun for the whole family.

Piston Peak National Park

Piston Peak National Park is inspired by Pixar Animation Studios film Cars and real-life national parks, particularly the Rocky Mountains, Yosemite, and Yellowstone. Inside Piston Peak, guests will be able to see and explore the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and more all set within the Disney and Pixar “Cars” universe.

One attraction has already been announced for the land: an off-road rally race ride. A new type of ride vehicle that moves along a single-rail model track rolls over raised obstacles will be featured for this attraction. It has a range of motion similar to the vehicles on DINOSAUR or Indiana Jones Adventure.

Piston Peak also has a new original car character, Ranger J. Autobahn Woodlore, who pays homage to classic Disney cartoons.

Walt Disney Imagineering promised they were considering sightlines when it came to the Cars-themed area, ensuring car architecture would not be visible from Main Street, U.S.A., Liberty Square, or another area of the park. They will do this by planting trees that act as a natural barrier. Rugged mountains with dramatic peaks will be nestled along a waterway across from Grizzly Hall and soaring geysers from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will stretch into the trails of the off-road rally.
