Bus service to Magic Kingdom area resorts has changed following traffic pattern updates around the theme park. The intersection of Seven Seas Drive and Floridian Way closed permanently in July, and a new Floridian Way opened last week.

We noticed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios bus depot that service to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Contemporary Resort is now combined, picking up at gate 4. All guests for both resorts board one bus that stops at the Contemporary first.

Service to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is also combined (gate 8). And Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has its own separate bus (gate 6).

Previously, the Grand Floridian and Polynesian would often share a bus, as would the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge.

Guest relations Cast Members at Magic Kingdom told us these combinations are more efficient with the new roadway. They also confirmed the service changes are the same across all four theme parks.
