The latest permit for Tropical Americas construction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom contracts a theatrical company for work at Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto.

Filed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the permit contracts InterAmerica Stage for “General Construction” at 504 Dinoland Dr, the address of the ride. As usual, it expires in one year.

InterAmerica Stage specializes in stage rigging and machinery. Though a stage show isn’t planned for Tropical Americas (other than the existing Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!), the company could be working on sets for the Encanto ride.

We learned the attraction would be called Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. It will be focused on the day Antonio received his gift of talking to animals, expanding on the film’s plot with new scenes. It will travel on multiple levels but have no height requirement.
