The South Florida Water Management District approved Disney’s plan for modifications to the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa parking lot.
Grand Floridian Parking Modifications

The project proposes the construction of parking lot infrastructure and driveway modifications related to World Drive North Phase 3.
The Environmental Resource permit specifically authorizes construction and operation of a storm water management system serving 3.6 acres.
That acreage includes 3.4 acres encompassing the Villas and Wedding Pavilion parking lots and 0.20 acres between Grand Floridian and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

More spaces will be added to the existing lots, which will be reconfigured to effectively link the Villas and Island Tower parking lots. In the image above, the project area is outlined in yellow.
