Disney has reiterated that they are committed to building a Disney resort in Abu Dhabi during the Q3 earnings call. It will be the first Disney resort in the region and the seventh worldwide.
Disneyland Abu Dhabi

To make Disneyland Abu Dhabi a reality, Disney is teaming up with Miral, a UAE-based entertainment company behind some of Yas Island’s most iconic attractions, like Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World.
Disneyland Abu Dhabi is being developed through a licensing agreement with Miral. Miral will fully finance, build, and operate the park, while Disney provides its intellectual property and creative oversight, earning revenue through licensing fees and royalties without investing its own capital.
During the Q3 analyst Q&A this morning, Disney was asked how fuel cost volatility and Middle East conflict are affecting Disney. This includes any impact on theme park attendance, margins, and Abu Dhabi. Regarding Abu Dhabi specifically, CFO Hugh Johnston responded with:
We continue to believe in the strategic rationale behind the project, and we are fully committed to seeing that project through.
The project is being designed with a long-term view. Despite the fact that these projects take years to build, it will operate for decades to come.
