Pin Tuesday Tickets

Westward Ho Trading Company, the main pin store at Disneyland Park, has introduced a new ticket system for Pin Tuesday releases. The goal is to cut down on the line cutting, fighting, and general chaos that comes with Pin Tuesdays.

Guests who line up at the start of the day are given these cards, which they then have to turn in when they buy their pins. The cards have varying designs, but they all list the store name and date.

The system is designed to hopefully prevent guests from cutting the queue. Even if they do cut, they wouldn’t have a card to prove they were in line when cards were handed out. We have noticed the issues with guests arguing and pushing while waiting in line.

A similar wristband system was previously used for the release of Stitch 626 Day pins.

The ticket system will be used on the dates Kingdom Hearts pins are released due to their popularity, but may also be used on other Pin Tuesdays.

How do you feel about this system? Let us know on social media.
