The turf on the Village Green courtyard at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas has been removed.

BoardWalk Inn Village Green Refurbishment

In the area, the turf has been removed, and light-colored dirt and rock piles have taken over the lawn facing the lake.

On the left-hand side, foliage has been placed to cover the area. However, much of the space is able to be seen.

We reported earlier this month that BoardWalk Inn and BoardWalk Villas’ guests will not be able to use the Village Green courtyard from August 10 through September 4, 2026.

When the area is available for use, recreation activities are typically offered, including Movie Under the Stars, yoga, and more. These will be relocated to different areas around the resort during the refurbishment period.

Other upcoming refurbishments at the resort include the Luna Park Pool, the Luna Park Crazy Play Area, and Leaping Horse Libations, which will be temporarily closed from January 11, 2027, through April 2027. Other pools will be available for use.
