Boat operations between Magic Kingdom and nearby resorts have changed due to dock construction.
Resort Boat Transportation

Due to work on an extension of the ferryboat dock at Magic Kingdom, the dock for Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is closed. So now guests taking a boat to Wilderness Lodge ride the same boat as those going to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
The lines are still split, but Cast Members will load guests from both into one boat.
On Monday morning, August 10, the boat stopped at Fort Wilderness first and then Wilderness Lodge. It may sometimes go in the opposite order, however, depending on various factors.
This shared boat system means transportation to and from the resorts may be slower than guests are used to.
