Duffy and his friends are preparing a Halloween celebration filled with colorful pumpkins, playful surprises, and plenty of seasonal treats.
Duffy & Friends’ Autumn Surprise
Tokyo DisneySea will offer new Duffy & Friends Halloween merchandise and food souvenirs beginning August 25, with the main seasonal promotion continuing through November 1. Some offerings have separate release dates or may be available for different periods.
The first collection, “Duffy & Friends’ Autumn Surprise!,” depicts the seven friends enjoying a Halloween celebration built around surprising one another.
Plush charms show Duffy and his friends peeking out from colorful pumpkins, while small plush toys feature the characters dressed in bright Halloween costumes. Other items include mystery pouches decorated with scenes of the friends enjoying their celebration, and various charm sets featuring Duffy and Friends portraits.
The pouches are offered in five possible designs, including one secret design. The charms also include small mirrors on their reverse sides, allowing them to serve as decorative and functional bag accessories.
The collection will extend beyond plush items and accessories. A hoodie designed for cooler autumn weather will include Gelatoni ears on its hood. Gelatoni will also be represented by a shoulder bag depicting the artistic cat in his Halloween costume.
Additional merchandise will include a StellaLou hair clip, a drawstring backpack covered with the faces of Duffy and his friends, and a blanket that comes with a Duffy-shaped storage case.
CookieAnn’s Halloween Sweet Surprise
A separate collection, “CookieAnn’s Halloween Sweet Surprise,” centers on CookieAnn enthusiastically preparing a pumpkin tart to give her friends an additional surprise.
CookieAnn wears a seasonal outfit accented by a large red bow. The collection around this design includes a toy plush, a plush headband, and a scrunchie, giving guests several ways to coordinate their outfits with the culinary pup.
Tokyo DisneySea will also sell cream-filled snacks packaged inside a drawstring pouch decorated with artwork of CookieAnn preparing the dessert. The collection combines the orange shades of the pumpkin tart with CookieAnn’s red bow for a distinctly autumnal color palette.
Duffy & Friends Food Souvenirs
Cape Cod Cook-Off will offer four food souvenirs featuring artwork from “Duffy & Friends’ Autumn Surprise!”
The lineup includes a beverage bottle decorated with the characters surprising one another, a lunch case, a souvenir cup, and a souvenir plate. Each item will be available as an add-on with the purchase of an eligible menu item.
Tokyo DisneySea will also introduce a 25th anniversary Duffy Cookie Sandwich with cheese and lemon filling on September 15. The sandwich contains cheese cream colored in the park anniversary’s “Jubilee Blue,” combining a mild cheese flavor with a light hint of lemon.
Hotel MiraCosta Menu
Silk Road Garden at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will serve a “Duffy & Friends’ Autumn Surprise!” Cantonese lunch from August 25 through November 1.
The meal includes an appetizer, Chinese steamed bread, a main course, and a dessert featuring a Duffy motif inspired by the character preparing for Halloween.
During lunch hours, the restaurant will also offer a special apple juice-based drink topped with whipped cream and chocolate. Disney describes the beverage as having a smooth, mellow sweetness.
Disney Resort Line Ticket
Beginning August 25, Disney Resort Line ticket machines will sell a limited-edition day pass featuring the “Duffy & Friends’ Autumn Surprise!” design. Sales may conclude before the end of the promotional period depending on availability.
The new collections continue the growing international presence of Duffy and his friends. The complete group also stars in “Duffy and the Friend Ship,” an original musical performed aboard the Disney Adventure. The shipboard production follows the friends as they combine their individual talents to build and decorate a boat before embarking on an imaginary ocean voyage.
