EPCOT’s opening hours will be delayed on Friday, October 23, and Sunday, October 25, 2026 due to runDisney races taking place in the park.
EPCOT Delays Hours for Two Fall Dates
On October 23, EPCOT’s opening will be delayed to 10 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World resort have access to early entry, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. The park will close at 9 p.m. These hours are also set for October 25.
During that weekend, the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon takes place. Here’s the schedule:
- October 23: Disney Wine & Dine 5k
- October 24: Disney Wine & Dine 10k
- October 25: Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon
The delayed times on Friday and Sunday are due to the extended registration, which means it may take longer for runners to exit the course. EPCOT will also not be hosting Extended Hours on Monday, October 26. Instead, Animal Kingdom will have Extended Hours. They will be closing at 8 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.
