Temporary potted trees block the entrances to the play and picnic area. The playground was constructed in 2025 and is re-dressed with different props for each festival.

During last year’s Food & Wine Festival, it was turned into the nature-inspired Harvest Hollow.

Harvest Hollow may return this year or the playground may get a brand-new theme. There are no signs of work on the playground yet.

The WALL-E playground on the other side of the park may also be re-themed.

The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will run from August 27 to November 21. Offerings include Global Marketplaces, Emile’s Fromage Montage, Remy’s Hide & Squeak, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, and a new interactive cheese exhibit. Disney shared a sneak peek at festival merchandise.
