A large section of the future multipurpose building at Universal Epic Universe is now covered in metal decking as construction continues across the site.

Aerial photographer bioreconstruct shared the latest views of the construction site, located off Celestial Park between Other Worlds Mercantile and Super Nintendo World. It sits beside a backstage bus loop and across from Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.
The most developed portion of the structure now has metal decking installed across nearly its entire upper surface. The panels cover the broad, irregularly shaped steel frame that was still largely exposed in our previous construction update.
Open sections remain around the edges and near the center of the structure, where workers and construction lifts can still access the steel framework. A tall, box-shaped framework also rises above the rest of the building near one end, likely enclosing an early staircase and/or elevator for the structure.

The latest aerial views suggest this portion of the project may initially serve as facilities for Universal Orlando Team Members. Bioreconstruct noted that the building’s front hall, intended for private events, is also beginning to take shape but may be budgeted to debut at a later date. Universal has not officially confirmed a phased opening schedule or announced the building’s final operating plans.
Much of the remaining construction site is still cleared dirt. Excavators, cranes, and other equipment are spread throughout the area, while several rectangular foundations and rebar assemblies are visible closer to Celestial Park. These early concrete elements may outline portions of the future event hall and its supporting spaces.

Construction has advanced quickly since the building first went vertical in June. At that time, crews had only begun assembling the first rows of vertical columns and horizontal beams. Additional framing was installed later that month before workers added the second level.
The project is identified in filings as P915. Previously reported permits describe a 53,886-square-foot, two-level event space, approximately 29,749 square feet of which will be enclosed. The project is valued at more than $20 million and is expected to accommodate roughly 1,200 to 1,400 people.
Plans have also referenced a kitchen, breakroom, storage closets, and a hexagonal roof canopy that may incorporate lighting similar to other structures throughout Celestial Park. Once completed, the venue could host private receptions, corporate gatherings, media events, limited-time experiences, and other group functions.
