We came. We saw. We conquered. And we ate…a lot. Yes, we’ve just finished the first day of the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and we did EVERYTHING there was to do and saw everything there was to see.
Of course, we also ate everything there was to eat! Now that all our reviews are in, we’re going to give you a full list of our faves, aka everything you need to try at the festival.
New Bests!
One of our favorite things to do is try new food at the festival, and this year brought us some new faves that we HAVE to tell you about.
Paleta de Moras — Mexico
Check out the new Paleta de Moras for $7.00. This is a Berry Ice Pop filled with Sweetened Condensed Milk topped with Chili-Lime Seasoning.
The berries were fresh, and this was so refreshing. We also found that this tasted more like natural fruit rather than a ton of sugar, which we really appreciated. And the seasoning on top created the most interesting flavor combo that was SO delicious! The most interesting part of this had to be the condensed milk in the center, which was so creamy and created an amazing flavor combination, and more fun than a normal popsicle.
Croquetas de Jamón — Spain
We grabbed the NEW Croquetas de Jamón made with saffron Aïoli and Shaved Jamón Serrano for $6.99.
These are so dang good that we’re going to need two servings. The breading on the outside is seasoned perfectly, with a great, crispy exterior that reflects the ideal fried texture. The inside had a balance of cheese and ham, and it’s absolutely creamy. There’s just enough acid to bring down the richness, and the microgreens add some nice herbaceous element. These were completely out of this world.
Chocolate-Pistachio Cookie — Tangierine Cafe
You can wrap up your meal with a sweet treat — the new Chocolate-Pistachio Cookie for $4.29. This was basically a Dubai chocolate bar in cookie form.
This center had a crunchy pistachio cream, and it was salty and nutty, giving an amazing contrast against the sweet chocolate cookie. The cookie itself was soft, and the pistachio pieces added a nice crunch while the strong pistachio flavor came from the filling. This is a MUST-try if you love pistachio, but a word of warning: it is quite messy, so grab some napkins.
Seoul, South Korea: Bo Ssam Pork Poutine — La Poutinerie
The specialty food item at La Poutinerie is the brand-new Seoul, South Korea Bo Ssam Pork Poutine! This dish is made with French Fries, Cheese Curds, Bo Ssam Pork, Gochujang Gravy, Kimchi Pickles, Aïoli, and Sesame for $11.99.
This was absolutely delicious! The sauce was fairly spicy, but when you get it mixed with all the other things in the poutine, it wasn’t overly spicy. The creamy white sauce and the cheese curds really do help dial that heat back to create an awesome balance and a pleasant, peppery spice.
Basil Pesto Chicken Dumplings — Gyozas of the Galaxy
The first new item to try is the Basil Pesto Chicken Dumplings. These are Chicken Dumplings with Basil Pesto, Fonduta, Tomato Confit, and Balsamic for $5.99.
The dumplings themselves are firm with a strong bite. The basil pesto gives the chicken dumplings a slight earthy tone and balances out the dish. But it’s the fonduta that really takes this thing away. The dumplings are covered in it, giving the dumplings a rich, cheesy flavor. If you don’t like tomatoes, don’t fear this dish, because we couldn’t taste them. It just adds to the firm texture of the dumplings and gives it a little sweetness.
Wiener Schnitzel — Germany
Check out the brand new Wiener Schnitzel! This is made with a breaded veal cutlet featuring HEINZ Brauhaus Mustard, Warm Yukon Gold Potato Salad, Bacon, Watercress-Radish Salad, and Lemon, all for $7.29.
This was absolutely incredible, and we are obsessed! It was so crispy and thin, and the veal was not dry at all. The mustard was super tangy and really flavorful, adding the perfect kick without overwhelming the dish. The light salad complemented the heaviness of this dish really well. The potatoes were soft without being mushy, and overall, this was one of our favorite items we tried all day.
Caramel-Apple Cheesecake Baumkuchen — Connections Eatery
If you’re in the mood for a sweet treat at the Eatery, you’ll find the new Caramel-Apple Cheesecake Baumkuchen for $6.49.
This was — hands-down — one of the best things we tried at the Festival! It tasted like a cake that your grandma would make, and then just throw caramel apple in the middle, topped with whipped cream. This really didn’t give us cheesecake vibes, but rather a fluffy, thick, vanilla cake that had multiple layers to it. It is pretty filling, but it is also really good.
Returning Bests
Of course, we also have the old favorites that we are always going to order when they’re available.
Brioche aux Épices Avec Une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages — France
The Brioche aux Epices Avec Une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages is returning this year. This is a spiced brioche with a three-cheese mornay filling for $8.95.
The brioche was extremely soft and fluffy, and the spice from both the brioche and the cheese made it feel like a higher quality item. The cheese was super creamy and almost reminded us of the beloved Cheddar Bacon Soup in Canada. The ratio of cheese to bread you get in this item is absolutely worth it!
Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli — Forest & Field
Returning to Forest & Field is the Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli with brown butter vinaigrette, pecorino cheese, pomegranate seeds, and hazelnut praline. This is part of Emile’s Fromage Montage and is $5.49.
Last year, we found these to be incredibly tender, with some nice caramelization from the butter topping, and this year is exactly the same! The ravioli is very soft and savory, which makes it satisfying to eat. Be sure to get some cheese and pomegranates with each bite because they just make the dish so much better! It’s absolutely a “Best of the Fest!”
Pão de Queijo — Brazil
We knew this one wasn’t going anywhere. The Pão de Queijo, or Brazilian Cheese Bread, returns for $5.19. It’s also one of the festival’s 30th Anniversary Legacy Items and counts toward Emile’s Fromage Montage.
They’re just as wonderful as always! These are yet again a best of the fest dish for us — fluffy, cheesy, and gooey deliciousness wrapped up in a bite-sized treat. We love them. We’re obsessed with them.
Freshly Baked Carrot Cake — Milled & Mulled
The Freshly Baked Carrot Cake with walnuts and cream cheese icing has had a few different homes at the Food and Wine Festival. No matter where it lands, it usually winds up on our Best of the Fest list, and we’re glad to see it at Milled and Mulled this year for only $4.99.
This carrot cake is so moist. We thought it had the perfect amount of walnuts and carrot pieces inside of the cake. Not so much that it affects the texture too much. For anyone who really enjoys carrot cake, this has got to be a must-do. The thing that knocks this one out of the park is that the glaze over the top is perfectly sweet, and the carrot cake itself doesn’t have an overwhelming amount of sweetness.
Teriyaki Chicken Bun — Japan
Returning this year is the Teriyaki Chicken Bun. This is a Steamed Bun filled with Minced Chicken, Vegetables, and Teriyaki Sauce for $8.00.
We thought it was the most palate-friendly and great for those who are looking for familiar flavors. The inside was flavorful and savory, and the bun was as soft as a cloud.
Smoked Corned Beef — Flavors from Fire
Returning to Flavors from Fire is the Smoked Corned Beef with house-made potato chips, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer cheese fondue for $6.49.
This tends to be a favorite of the festival, and when we had it again in 2025, we thought it was still impressive! The tender, flavorful corned beef is served atop house-made potato chips with a subtle hint of barbecue. Pickled onions and cheese curds add extra texture, while a drizzle of beer cheese fondue ties everything together. The result is an indulgent, loaded bite that’s rich and satisfying without feeling overwhelming.
Roasted Lamb Chop — Australia
The Roasted Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Crushed Salt and Vinegar Potato Chips costs $8.79 this year.
Yes, those are crushed salt and vinegar potato chips on a lamb chop. No, we aren’t interested in hearing objections until you’ve tried it. Last year’s version was one of the biggest winners at this booth. Our chop was thick and juicy, while those crushed chips brought crunch, salt, and a sharp vinegar tang that worked ridiculously well with the meat. The mint pesto added a fresh herbal note that kept the whole thing from becoming too heavy. Our particular serving in 2025 was slightly overcooked and therefore a little chewier than we’d have liked, but we still called it a must-order. This dish has also landed on our Best of the Fest lists in previous years.
Cheddar and Bacon Soup — Canada
So the Cheddar and Bacon Soup, which has been a longtime favorite, hit a bit differently than when we’ve had it on those hot and sunny days. For $6.29, this Festival Legacy Item is served with a Pretzel Roll.
It’s that classic soup with the smoky bacon flavor and just LOTS of creamy and cheesy deliciousness. ALL the Cheese. The pretzel roll, though, was a little tough. But then again, it did get a little softer once the rain hit…well…soggy. Just dip it in the soup, and it’s perfect.
Canadian Filet Mignon — Canada
One of the Legacy Items this year is the Filet Mignon with Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes. For $10.49, this is one of the pricier items at the Festival, so it’s especially good for Disney Dining Plan participants to know that it — like the Cheddar and Bacon Soup — is eligible for a snack credit.
The filet mignon is delicious, as always, but be warned that ours was medium-rare, so if you like your meat more done than that, you’ve been warned. It has a ton of flavor with a lovely crust. The mushrooms are also a nice addition. The potatoes are also flavorful, well-seasoned, creamy, and delicious.
Schinkennudeln — Germany
The Schinkennudeln is back this year for $5.29. It’s a pasta gratin with ham, onions, and cheese, and it’s both a 30th Anniversary item AND part of Emile’s Fromage Montage.
This year, we thought it was really good! The noodles were cooked really well and absorbed all of the creamy and cheesy flavors. This dish really is a cheese lover’s dream! There was so much cheese on top that it melted into the entire dish so well. While we thought the ham had a good flavor, it was hidden behind all the cheese; that being said, when we could taste the ham, it added a nice saltiness to the dish.
South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse — Refreshment Outpost
The South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse returns for $6.29! This year’s version is a mousse covered with white chocolate ganache and garnished with chocolate-covered popping candy.
There was a lot of chocolate going on in this dish. First off, the chocolate popping candy surprised us with how much they popped and the length of time the popping continued. Then the mousse itself is on top of the dish, and word of warning: ours melted before we got to taste it, giving it a melted ice cream consistency. The bottom is like a soft chocolate cookie, and then it is topped with a moist chocolate cake. This dish is a dream for chocolate lovers craving a lighter dessert. It was a good size but didn’t feel super heavy with the soft cookie and mousse on top.
Slow-roasted Pork Slider — Hawai’i
One thing we tried was the Slow-roasted Pork Slider with sweet-and-sour chutney featuring DOLE Pineapple and spicy mayonnaise. This was a staple of the festival for many years, and it has returned as a 30th Anniversary legacy item for $5.99.
The pork on the slider was tender and juicy. It was packed with lots of good flavor. The spicy mayonnaise isn’t spicy at all, but it’s a nice addition, allowing it to elevate the flavor of the slider. The sweet and sour chutney with the pineapple gives it a little bit of sweetness, which we really loved.
Hawaiian Rice Bowl — Hawai’i
We also snagged the Hawaiian Rice Bowl, made with Spam, eggs, eel sauce, spicy mayonnaise, and furikake. You can pick this up for $6.29. Last year this was one of our favorites, and we thought the flavors balanced perfectly.
Now we will be honest, we usually don’t love spam, but we look forward to this dish. Again, the spicy mayo isn’t that spicy. Don’t let the eel sauce scare you either — it’s not overly fishy in flavor. There’s good texture in this bowl with some crunch, and the flavors all work together nicely. We think this dish is filling and, for the price, is a great serving!
Basque Cheesecake — Spain
The returning Basque Cheesecake is once again plated with orange sauce. This sweet treat costs $5.29 and is an eligible item for those participating in the Emile’s Fromage Montage Cheese Crawl.
This year was no different. It was creamy, melted in your mouth, and so light, airy, and full of that tart cheesecake flavor, with the classic heaviness of traditional cheesecake. The texture is so soft and pillowy, and the orange sauce is full of citrus flavor. Every bite is as good as the first, and you’re going to want your own slice not to share with anyone.
BEST Booth of the FEST
Okay, so one or two booths always stand out as the ones we know we’ll be returning to when we visit the festival next. These are the booths with several solid options, which makes them booths you need to add to your list.
France
This year, the honor went to the France Booth! Their returning dishes were once again our favorites, and if you’re trying to hit one booth with multiple options you know are going to hit, this could be the one. There are some items that everyone will enjoy, like the cheese brioche, but there’s also a little bit of adventure with the escargot. This booth is usually a hit

Spain
We do want to give a very special shoutout to the Spain Booth, too. While it didn’t win the official title of best, it was a very close runner-up with amazing food options — we just might head somewhere else for drinks.

Best of the Fest for Kids
If you’ve got kiddos with you, there’s plenty for them to enjoy, too. Here’s what we think they’ll really love.
Pumpkin Pie Funnel Cake — Funnel Cake Stand
The Pumpkin Pie Funnel Cake is a Funnel Cake with Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, Dark Chocolate Sauce, Cinnamon Streusel, and Powdered Sugar. It is priced at $12.50.
We loved that the pumpkin flavor was there, but it was more on the subtle side. You can definitely taste it, but it’s not going to be an overwhelming, in-your-face sort of flavor. The dark chocolate sauce helps cut some of the sweetness, and while we were looking for a bit more of the common flavor, we really enjoyed it overall and think it would be an easy one to share with the family.
Remy Milk Shake — Sunshine Seasons
Returning this year is the Remy Milk Shake, a Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Shake topped with a cookie, mini cheesecake, white chocolate Eiffel Tower, and a strawberry for $11.49.
When we checked out this shake in 2025, we found it to be SWEET! That may seem obvious for a milkshake, but this offering is exceptionally so, to the point that it felt like the sugar was coating our throat a bit (make sure to get a cup of water to wash it down). However, that doesn’t make the shake bad. In fact, those with a sweet tooth or a taste for strawberry milkshakes will probably think it’s a hidden gem of the festival.
Yes, there is SO much to try at the festival, but you have until November 21st to try everything. So make a list, and get ready to do some GOOD eating (also, it might not be a bad idea to wear the stretchy pants).
