Walt Disney World will celebrate its 55th anniversary in October, and we just got our first look at the logo and merchandise.
Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary

In the preview, we got a look at a light blue T-shirt, blue hoodie, and ear headband. The light blue T-shirt shows Mickey marching in a vintage costume in front of Cinderella Castle. He holds his hat in one hand and a cane in the other. Next to the castle is the 55th anniversary logo, which has a pink 55 above a blue globe. The globe and 5’s create a Mickey icon. “Magical Years” is printed underneath on a dark blue banner.
On the blue hoodie, the logo is printed in a lighter shade of blue. In front of it is Mickey marching in the center of the four theme park icons: Cinderella Castle, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Above Mickey is a Florida pennant and “Walt Disney World” embroidered in gold. “All our dreams can come true if we have have the courage to pursue them” is in a white script font at the bottom.
Finally, the blue ear headband has an allover print of the theme park icons we saw on the hoodie. Some landmarks and characters from the parks are also on the ears, including the Sorcerer Mickey hat and Figment. The 55th logo is on there. In the center is a dark blue bow with white polka dots.
We anticipate that the 55th will be a small celebration, as we have not heard anything about any special activities or offerings.
