Walt Disney Imagineering has shared the first riddle in their Society of Explorers and Adventurers mystery. The adventure began with the lack of an announcement at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. An S.E.A. artifact was “stolen” and the thief left behind riddles to reveal their name.

S.E.A. Riddle

S.E.A. archivist Bonnie Booker is now sharing the riddles on social media one by one. Each riddle will reveal a letter, but the letters are out of order. Here’s the text of the first note:

I’m sure you’re wondering, who am I?
The answer is an S.E.A reject, with loose ends to tie.
Still curious about my game?
To win, you need to discover my name.
One letter at a time is key,
Here’s your first puzzle, beneath the marquee:
I’ve grown fond of this street, I’m rather keen,
Of its people, its shops, and its screens.
I like to collect tickets everywhere I go.
And who doesn’t love to see a good show?
She takes your ticket from a strip,
Her lips won’t spill, but what does she sip?

The riddles can all be solved by looking up images of Disneyland online.

The D23 presentation seemed to hint at adding S.E.A. lore to Matterhorn Bobsleds, but nothing has been confirmed.
