Disney has set the reopening date for Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition and the temporary closure dates for Mark Twain Riverboat at Disneyland.
Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition

The attraction, which has been closed since July 6, will reopen on September 11, 2026. We have not seen a lot of work on this attraction other than some themed scrim.
This attraction allows guests to enter the rustic cabin and practice their aim on over 100 interactive targets. You must purchase credits to play. One credit will get you approximately 25 shots. You can buy additional credits for more shooting time.
Mark Twain Riverboat

According to the Disneyland website, the attraction will temporarily close on September 8, 2026. It is scheduled to reopen on September 12, 2026 with listed operating hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:40 p.m.
The Mark Twain is an authentic reproduction of the historic vessels that ferried people up and down the Mississippi River. A working steam engine converts the water from the Rivers of America into steam that in turn powers the large paddle that propels the boat.
The steam-powered vessel takes guests on a 14-minute/half-mile journey into the heart of the American frontier.
Recently, a Cast Member at Disneyland reportedly jumped into the Rivers of America after throwing in his keys and his walkie-talkie.
