Universal Orlando Resort shared details of Halloween overlays at their hotel lounges, including a new Universal Monsters hideaway and the first Halloween decorations for Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts.
Universal Monsters Laguna Lounge
Jake’s American Bar at Loews Royal Pacific Resort will transform into the brand new Universal Monsters Laguna Lounge, a classic monster hideaway inspired by mid-century modern tiki. Guests can catch characters like Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, and more lurking among the décor, along with larger-than-life photo ops.
Stella Nova & Terra Luna
At Universal Stella Nova Resort, the Nova Bar becomes a sleek research exhibit gone wrong. A mysterious substance has breached containment, creeping and pulsing with a life of its own. As guests explore the bar, they’ll notice that hazmat teams have sealed off the area and are working urgently to stabilize the situation before the substance infects everyone and everything.
Over at Universal Terra Luna Resort, Luna Bar is a sleek interstellar outpost by day, but by night it becomes contested ground as two rival alien species who once declared the resort neutral territory are in battle. Guests will be surrounded by the turf battle, with each alien species on opposite sides of the bar.
Returning Halloween Lounges
Returning for a second year, guests can climb aboard an old fishing ship frozen in time by a freak ice storm at The Thirsty Fish in Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. Fishing nets and ropes are crusted in ice and ship’s broken mast dangles over the bar, all surrounded by an eerie blue glow.
Night of the Living Shred returns to Hard Rock Hotel’s lobby and Veranda Bar. This time around, the undead roadie crew is amping things up with more lights, more sights, more zombies, more band members, and new this year, a rock-fueled apocalypse at the bar.
In the lower lobby of Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is an eerie seaside Gothic Manor, where guests will encounter a range of creepy floral sculptures, candelabras, and other dark-academia items scattered throughout the seating areas. New this year is the addition of a satellite bar, where guests can sip on crafted cocktails like the Witch Doctor Old Fashioned, the Pumpkin Plunder, and the Haunted Jungle Bird, all of which are also available at Strong Water Tavern.
Alien overlords have again taken over barVentura, the lobby bar of Universal Aventura Hotel, serving mind-controlling cocktails as they attempt to abduct unsuspecting guests to their looming mothership.
The fan-favorite Pumpkin Lord Bar returns to Swizzle Lounge at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort, with the theme expanding to the lobby. Look out for Lil’ Boo!
Universal Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn & Suites brings spirits from the briny deep of the dead sea ashore at the Sunset Lounge, taking the form of eerie driftwood sculptures.
