Disney has announced that Jack Kirby, co-creator of many of the most famous Marvel characters in history, will receive a plaque in Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure.

Kirby was a comic book artist and is responsible for the invention of several Marvel characters from The Fantastic Four, Avengers, X-Men, and more.

He also worked in film and animation.

Stan Lee has a plaque in Avengers Camps already, pictured above.

“The person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt a real superhero.”
