The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health posted a measles warning for July 26 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Universal Studios Hollywood Measles Warning

The Department of Public Health confirmed a case of measles in a person who was infectious while visiting the theme park. Guests who were at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sunday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. may have been exposed.

Public Health shared details of what guests who may have been exposed should do next:
- Confirm if you are vaccinated against measles. If you have not had measles in the past and have not received the vaccine, you are at risk of developing measles and should monitor for symptoms.
- Contact and notify your health care provider as soon as possible if the exposed guest is pregnant, an infant, has a weakened immune system, and/or is unimmunized regardless of vaccination history.
- Call a healthcare provider immediately if symptoms develop. Stay home and avoid school, work, and large gatherings.
Symptoms include a fever and rash, cough, runny nose, and red, watery eyes.
The MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine is the best way to stay protected. To get the vaccine, Los Angeles County residents can call their healthcare provider, visit ph.lacounty.gov/measles, and/or call the Public Health InfoLine at 833-540-0473 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
