Crews are repainting the clock tower of the former MuppetVision 3D theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Old brickwork was removed earlier this year and redone.

The fresh brickwork was gray but, as we noted in our last update, the clock itself was covered by plastic to prepare for painting. Since then, the gray brickwork has been painted reddish-brown.

A few crew members were on the tower, putting finishing touches on the paint. The wall on the right has multiple different paint styles, possibly a test for the clock tower painting.

The theater will be named The Glob and host a new Monsters, Inc. experience. We expect details to be announced at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
