Since time immemorial, our purple lord and savior has manifested in many shapes and sizes – but this upcoming vinyl record is a first.
One Little Spark Now in Figment-Form
Disney Music Emporium has revealed a new Figment-shaped vinyl record featuring “One Little Spark,” with attendees at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event getting the first opportunity to order the collectible.
The unique die-cut record is shaped around a full-body illustration of Figment. The purple dragon is pictured in a playful pose surrounded by an orange outline forming the unusual shape of the vinyl.
A coordinating sleeve shows a close-up illustration of Figment’s face against a colorful gradient background. Another piece of artwork shown in the announcement incorporates the familiar Imagination Pavilion sunburst imagery.
The record features two versions of “One Little Spark,” the fan-favorite song written by Disney Legends Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman for the original Journey Into Imagination at EPCOT. Disney Music Emporium did not identify the two versions of the song in its announcement.
The original Journey Into Imagination opened with EPCOT Center in 1983 and introduced Dreamfinder and Figment. Although the attraction has undergone substantial changes over the decades, “One Little Spark” and Figment have remained closely associated with the pavilion and the park as a whole.
The Figment record will be available to order first exclusively from the Disney Music Booth, located in Hall B at booth E13 during D23 2026. Disney Music Emporium says standard shipping will be free, meaning guests will not have to carry the holy record around the convention or transport it home themselves. A price has not yet been announced.
