Tim Curry, a legendary actor, has passed away at 80, People has reported.

Curry was born in the United Kingdom on April 19th, 1946, and was best known for his comedic and villainous roles, including in Disney’s The Three Musketeers and Muppet Treasure Island.

In addition to his Disney roles, Tim Curry was perhaps best known for his iconic roles as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Pennywise in It. He earned three Tony nominations, a Daytime Emmy, and two Laurence Olivier Award nominations, along with releasing three musical albums throughout his career.

Curry got his start on stage in London’s West End, starring in the original London production of Hair in 1968, despite admitting that he fudged his own experience to get a part in the show. He continued to work in stage productions throughout his career, including debuting the role of King Arthur in Spamalot on Broadway.

In 2012, Tim Curry suffered a major stroke and has been a wheelchair user ever since. He pulled back on his acting career then to focus mainly on voiceover projects.

In addition to The Three Musketeers and Muppet Treasure Island, Curry also had roles in TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks, The Proud Family, Phineas and Ferb, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and several more.

At Disney World, he voiced S.I.R., the robot character who hosted the pre-show of ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter in Magic Kingdom.
