The second half of the Lotus Blossom Café seating area has reopened, completing the recent refurbishment of the EPCOT restaurant’s two dining spaces.

The second half of the Lotus Blossom Café seating area has reopened, completing the recent refurbishment of the EPCOT restaurant’s two dining spaces.

Guests can once again use the right-side seating area at Lotus Blossom Café in the China Pavilion. The room closed for refurbishment in July, shortly after the restaurant’s opposite dining area reopened from a similar project.

Privacy hedges that previously blocked the exterior and interior entrances have been removed, restoring the restaurant’s full covered seating capacity.

Much of the space seems largely unchanged from its appearance before closure. Bright orange, cross-shaped pendant lights still hang throughout the dining area. Teal trim outlines the recessed sections of the ceiling, while red columns frame the open-air entrance. The walls retain their beige textured covering, reddish mosaic tiles, and arrangement of calligraphy panels at the rear of the room.

A partially enclosed dining area at Lotus Blossom Café in EPCOT has reopened after being blocked off for refurbishment or maintenance earlier this year.

The only apparent update in the reopened space is the tile flooring. The new, bright beige floor segments appear much larger than the previous smaller, dark brown tiles. This mirrors the same change seen in the other half of the restaurant following its reopening (pictured above).

Beyond that, the room appears to have received a general refresh rather than an extensive redesign. The existing layout remains intact, with rows of rectangular tables, matching bench seating, and dark, speckled tabletops.

With both dining rooms available again, Lotus Blossom Café has returned to its full seating capacity following several months of work performed one section at a time. Several picnic tables which were added to the adjacent walkways of the China Pavilion have also been removed following the reopening of this area.
