After a six-month refurbishment, Big Top Souvenirs at Magic Kingdom has reopened. The Storybook Circus gift shop closed in late February, receiving a new tent roof and refreshed sign.

The biggest change inside the store is the “new” carpeting. The most recent carpet had a dark faux wood grain pattern. The new floor has a brown center with big printed tent seams. This is the store’s original carpet design which was replaced by generic flooring in 2020 after a flood.

A wood-style border features red, blue, and white circus designs. The exterior circle of the store is then dark green carpet.

The store’s design otherwise remains similar. The check-out counters near the main entrance resemble animal wagons.

However, other check-out counters have been removed and replaced by wall elements based on the wagon structures, framing the animal murals.

Instead of big picnic tables, there are smaller circular tables with red stars in the center, plus red and blue chairs. There are also short yellow and purple play tables.

The teal blue striped walls and ceiling reflect the tent exterior. The ceiling also features yellow trim, string lights, and star decals.

In the center of the store is the Big Top Treats confectionery counter offering a variety of new and returning sweet snacks.
