The original Porsche 911 (996) that was inspired by the Cars character Sally was on display at Monterey Car Week in California, which occurred from Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 16.

In a video shared by cathygilfe on Instagram, the car was parked in a display room.
While the Instagram user said that the car was sold for $3.6 million, a Porsche Monterey Instagram account stated in the comments that while this is the original car that inspired Sally, it wasn’t sold at the event and is part of the Porsche collection.
The $3.6 million sale was for the one-of-one Porsche Sally Special, which was created for charity.
The display car featured Sally’s eyes in the windshield along with her smile at the front of the car.
Sally’s signature tattoo is featured on the back of the car with “Carrera” printed in black. The California license plate reads “301PCE.”
