Eats

First up, we grabbed the new Tostada de Osso Buco. This dish is Pork Osso Buco atop a Fried Corn Tortilla with Chipotle Black Beans, Salsa Verde, Queso Fresco, and Chives for $8.25.

Tostada de Osso Buco

This was absolutely incredible! The tostada was crispy and crunchy in every single bite, and the refried beans on top were creamy and so savory. The pork itself was very moist and pulled apart extremely easily, and had just the right amount of fat to keep it really flavorful. Overall, we were obsessed with this item, and we will definitely be grabbing it again!

Tostada de Osso Buco

Up next, the new Taco de Camarón for $8.50. This is a Flour Tortilla with Crispy Tempura Shrimp, Shredded Cabbage, and Chipotle Aïoli. This is one of the 30th Anniversary Legacy Items, which has been reimagined for 2026!

Taco de Camarón

We loved this one too. The flour tortilla was great and held up all of the toppings very well. The shrimp had a nice mild flavor that was not overly fishy, and while the breading was good, we would have loved for it to be a little crispier. The shredded cabbage added a really nice crunch, and the chipotle aïoli was nice and creamy and not very spicy at all. There was also a guacamole spread at the bottom that was delicious and really brought the whole dish together and made it very interesting!

Taco de Camarón

Finally, the new Paleta de Moras for $7.00. This is a Berry Ice Pop filled with Sweetened Condensed Milk topped with Chili-Lime Seasoning. Obsessed is an understatement! This was so delicious, and even though it melted quick in the hot sun, we enjoyed every second.

Paleta de Moras

The berries were fresh, and this was so refreshing. We also found that this tasted more like natural fruit rather than a ton of sugar, which we really appreciated. And the seasoning on top created the most interesting flavor combo that was SO delicious! The most interesting part of this had to be the condensed milk in the center, which was so creamy and created an amazing flavor combination, and more fun than a normal popsicle.

Drinks

In terms of drinks on this menu, we got the new Cherry Nostalgia for $13.50. This drink has Blanco Tequila, Botanical Liqueur, Cherry, and Lime with a Hibiscus Salt Rim. This one was so good and our favorite of the two drinks.

Cherry Nostalgia

It was tart with the perfect amount of sweetness that makes this really easy to drink. The hibiscus salt rim added a nice and unique flavor. The most prominent flavor had to be that tart cherry, which we really enjoyed. While this wasn’t anything crazy or super unique, it’s a great option if you’re looking for something fun to try during the festival.

Cherry Nostalgia

The new Fruta de la Pasiόn has Blanco Tequila, Mezcal, Tangy Passion Fruit Purée, and Citrus Juice with a Salty Chili Rim for $13.75. Unfortunately, this was our least favorite item at the Mexico Booth this year.

Fruta de la Pasión

The passion fruit purée did not taste like natural fruit and instead had a more sugary taste, so if you love super sweet drinks, this might be for you. The mezcal added a smoky aftertaste, so if you like a subtly smoky drink, then this could be something you really enjoy. The mint added a nice freshness, but if you grab this one, we would recommend stirring frequently to avoid the purée separating. The salty chili rim was our favorite part of this drink because it added a nice, interesting kick!

Fruta de la Pasión

Finally, for beer fans, you can also grab the Mexican Craft Beer either in a 6 oz for $8.50 or in a 12 oz for $11.00.

OVERALL

Overall, we really enjoyed the Mexico Booth this year, and we would rate it a 4/5! We think that this booth is definitely worth a wait, especially to try the Tostada de Osso Buco and the Paleta de Moras. While everything we had at the booth this year was very good, these two really stuck out to us, especially the Paleta de Moras!

Full Spread

If we had to pick one item to skip, it would be the Fruta de la Pasiόn while this drink was good, we were not a huge fan of the level of sweetness or the flavors. However, if you want a sweet drink with a smoky kick, then we would still recommend trying this. When you go to the Food & Wine Festival this year, we definitely recommend having Mexico high on your must-try list!

That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
