Silly Symphony Swings has reopened after months of closure due to refurbishment at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort.

The attraction first closed in late April 2026. Four months later, as of the end of August, all temporary construction walls and scrim have been removed, and the ride is once again operating for park guests to enjoy.

No major changes were apparent to the exterior façade or the swing structure, beyond typical surface cleaning. Beyond a light visual refresh, the extensive closure likely involved mechanical maintenance on the ride itself.

We’ve covered the refurbishment process throughout the summer. On August 21, we reported that the scrim and scaffolding were fully taken down, though the attraction remained closed to guests.

The thrill ride is based on the 1935 short The Band Concert, featuring Mickey Mouse as a conductor who keeps his orchestra playing even as a tornado lifts them all into the sky.
