The table differs from EPCOT’s usual round standing tables. It’s more like a small counter and is attached to a flowerbed railing. This means it takes up a little less space.

It has a raised back edge, so guests are less likely to lose items in the flowerbed. A decal indicates the table is not for sitting.

Eating space is always at a premium during EPCOT festivals. Disney recently began replacing their flat-top trash cans with solar-powered cans featuring more rounded tops. Guests famously used the flat cans as tables but this will be harder with the new ones.
