The recently released single-player turn-based game set during the Clone Wars has hit a Star Wars video game milestone with its high initial user ratings.
Star Wars Zero Company Earns High Metacritic Score
As of Thursday, August 27, the Metacritic score for Star Wars Zero Company was 86, or generally favorable by the audience. The last Star Wars game to receive a Metascore of 86 was way back in 2004 with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – Sith Lords, which itself was the sequel to the highest-rated Star Wars game of all-time, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic in 2003.
Metacritic aggregates reviews from professional critics and converts each one into a score on a 100-point scale, then calculates a weighted average known as the “Metascore.” The site also displays a separate User Score based on ratings submitted by registered users; this is not factored into the professional Metascore.

As more reviews come in, the Star Wars Zero Company score may fluctuate over time. At the time of this writing, the score dropped one point to 85, which currently ties it with Star Wars: Jedi Survivor for the best-rated Star Wars game of the last decade.
