Disney announced The Bluey Movie during the D23 Entertainment Showcase, revealing that the beloved Heeler family will make its feature-film debut in theaters next year.
‘Bluey’ Goes 3D in 2027
A first teaser confirmed the film will bring Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli into a new 3D-animated adventure.
In the trailer, Bluey and her younger sister, Bingo, debut in a new, 3D-animated style as they’re seen playing “keepy uppy” with a balloon, trying (and failing) to keep it from landing on the ground.
A poster was revealed alongside the announcement, again showing Bluey playing with a red balloon.
The film is slated for a theatrical release in August 2027.
Further details about the story, voice cast, and additional characters have not yet been announced.
