A new maquette of Héctor Rivera is on display at D23, which leaves us to wonder: will he be the star of the new Coco-themed attraction at California Adventure?

He stands on a display with a quote that reads “¡His family was his world!” One hand is up in the air while another holds his guitar.
The Casa Museo de la Familia archway is also featured on the back of the Pavilion Collection T-shirt coming to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The collection is inspired by the Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion at the convention, revealing what new lands and attractions will be showcased.
The archway is straight out of concept art for the new ride, which will be part of Pixar Pier. However, the artwork previously released does not feature a statue. In fact, where the statue would be is partially hidden from view.
