After the recent announcement of the 2027 Tournament of Roses Royal Court, the honorees completed their annual tradition of visiting Disneyland Resort.
Royal Court Visits Disneyland Resort
The Tournament of Roses Royal Court consists of a select number of female high school students who are chosen based on academic achievement, community service, and leadership abilities. Members of the Royal Court receive benefits including a $7,500 scholarship, networking with industry professionals, personal development coaching, and riding in the 2027 Rose Parade.
This year’s Royal Court honorees are:
- Evita Bridge — Mayfield Senior School
- Tessa Choi — La Cañada High School
- Daniela Guzman — Arcadia High School
- Irene Maddox — Eagle Rock High School
- Maria Teresa McDonald — Thurgood Marshall Secondary School
- Elizabeth Rweyemamu — Polytechnic School
- Lucy Wendling — San Marino High School
Disney recently shared a photo of the group visiting Disneyland Resort. The group is posed with Mickey and Minnie in front of the large Mickey Pumpkin at Disneyland. Mickey and Minnie are wearing their Halloween outfits, while the students are wearing coordinating Halloween sweaters and Mickey ghost headbands.
