Hey Disney Springs friends! If you’re anything like me, some of the best Disney vacation memories happen when you step away from the usual park routine and give yourself permission to try something a little different. Well, Enzo’s Hideaway has another excuse to do exactly that, with a new date added for the Bootlegger’s Dinner, and this one is bringing Flor de Caña rum firmly into the spotlight.
The next Bootlegger’s Dinner takes place Thursday, November 12th, with guests able to choose between a 5:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. seating. The experience is $90 plus tax and gratuity, with an optional upgrade available for a 1 oz. pour of Flor de Caña 25-year for an additional $25. And if you’re already thinking this sounds like a rather lovely way to spend an evening at Disney Springs, I am right there with you.
The evening pairs three rum cocktails with food, beginning with Flor de Caña Blanco, pineapple, lime, coconut water, and vanilla alongside salumi e formaggi. Next comes Flor de Caña 12-year blended with crème de cacao, pecan liqueur, and orange clove syrup, paired with a CAB strip loin. To finish, Flor de Caña 7-year and Flor de Caña Spresso are combined with chai, brown butter demerara syrup, and oat milk alongside brown butter cake. Now, I don’t know too much about rum, but it sounds like we’re taking a little tropical, a little smoky, and a little sweet journey through the evening, and I am very curious about that final pairing.
For Disney vacation planners, this is exactly the sort of experience I like to keep tucked away for an evening when you don’t necessarily want another park night but still want to make the most of your Disney time. And for locals, well, you don’t need a theme park ticket to turn an ordinary Thursday into something considerably more interesting. Space is limited, the event is for guests 21 and over, and reservations are available for November 12th, so this is one to keep on the radar if a rum-filled evening at Enzo’s Hideaway sounds like your kind of night out.
