A live Cast Member no longer gives a spiel before guests enter the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets pre-show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Instead, a pre-recorded voice over plays.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Announcement Spiel

The announcement is heard in the hallway before guests enter Studio C, sharing basic safety information for the pre-show. Here’s what the pre-recorded voice says:

Welcome to G-Force Records. In just a moment, you’ll be heading into our largest recording studio. Please stand behind the yellow line. When the studio doors open toward you, please step carefully and fill in all available space. Do not sit or stand on the handrails. And as a courtesy to the band, please no flash photos or video lighting inside Studio C.

This change has happened at multiple attractions in recent years. The Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom previously had a live Cast Member give guests information as they entered the theater, but these announcements were transferred to the animatronics Buff, Max, and Melvin when the show became Country Bear Musical Jamboree.

Similarly, a live Cast Member was replaced by a voice over when It’s Tough to Be a Bug was replaced by Zootopia: Better Zoogether! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
